I am waiting gor 1447 days to get an approval on my 485 , VAWA approved on February 2024 . no any date on 485 approval.

@hope hope My VAWA was approved 3 months ago! I don't understand how some approve faster than others! This is very frustrating.

@castro LG : some idiot officers didn’t know anything, that caused lots of problems. my Idiot officer, when my 360 got approved, wrote on my approval notice, I am not eligible to have c31 ead card because I didn’t request it at beginning. so I applied for it on July and got my EAD c31 on September. on November 21 again they updated on my 360 application, we ordered a new card . they issued me a new EAD card which related to my 360 receipt number. imagine who works for uscis . now I have two c31 ead card with different receipt numbers. instead work on my 485 .

@hope hope Have you sent inquiries? Have you tried with the congressman in your region? Have you tried mandamus? I have sent two inquiries and still no response and I have asked for help from the congressman in my region! But it takes 30/45 days for them to give me an answer.

@hope hope everything takes so long! I don't understand why for some people they work faster than normal.

@castro LG . i did all of them which you mentioned on your message, except mandamus because I don’t have extra money for that . the only answer they responded, my application was signed to an Officer, we will notify them for your inquiry.

@castro LG My VAWA was approved same day as yours. I sent medical already, they asked me

@survivor p They didn't ask for the doctor, because I sent the doctor before the VAWA was approved.

@castro LG no on the phone, that came for response after my inquiry, they said wiat for 60 days

@castro LG did you receive any update that they received your medical? if you sent it without the, you may have to send it again

@castro LG the case is that sometimes when you send medical without rfe and not together with petition, it is “lost”. it happens to few people I know. that’s why I was waiting until they send rfe. hopefully not to you

@survivor p is right. When they send people RFE they tell you where to send it and I think there is a code attached to that letter. So, when you send medicala to USCIS, you attach RFE with medicals. I understand that people have to send medicals with I-485 now, but lawyers were always advising people to wait for RFE and then send medicals. You can try calling them
