don’t believe anyone that tells you that is a normal wait time because it’s not. it usually happens when the application has more things to look into. for example, has the applicant ever been deported, or have you or your spouse ever been married before, maybe have children with other people. it will take longer to process. my spouse got approved in 15 months because we both have never been married before, never been deported or have any extra stuff to look into.

You need to send an email to USCIS; it's taking too long. They're processing approvals in January and February 2025.
