Different country of entry
Hi,
I’ve been issued a visa under IR-1 category. The visa is valid for 6 months and has been issued by the UK embassy. I am an Indian and planning to go to India before flying over to the USA.
1. Do I need to travel from the UK to USA or is it okay to travel from India to the USA before the visa expiration (The visa says it has been issued by US embassy London)
2. In the visa it says “ IV DOCS IN CCD
UPON ENDORSEMENT SERVES AS TEMPORARY 1-551 EVIDENCING PERMANENT RESIDENCE FOR 1 YEAR” I don’t understand this. Is this a problem or is this normal? I’ve only received a document which defines about the green card process & fees($220) with my passport

@Abena Dee It was fairly quick, DQ on Oct & IL on Nov first week for interview on Dec 7th
