difference F2A and IR/CR1 ?
hi guys do you know what’s the difference between F2A and IR/CR1 ? I was staying in US student visa and my spouse U.S. citizen. We got married in U.S.A. according to this information which one I am ? I couldn’t understand 🤓

F2A is for the spouse of LPR while IR1 is for spouse of US citizen. There is no difference because the priority dates are current for F2A category right now and petitions can be Filled concurrently. It's easier if you Google of you need more info. but since your spouse is US citizen you should go work IR1

I google it but I got confused so bad that’s why I asked you guys! thanks for your answers and help. I asked this question because I have case tracker here and application just letting me as an f2a I just wanted make sure am I tracking right thing or not

yours is IR6 because you apply while in US. For spouse of US Citizen apply outside the US they got IR1
