dependent called for interview not primary
wondering how should we prepare for interview of the dependent under employment category when the primary applicant is not called? there also hasn't been any problem with fingerprints etc so it can't be because of that. it is a weird situation so any advice is appreciated.

@prof k I was in the same situation when my dependent received interview letter ans I did not. I opened a case with USCIS and received a phone call from USCIS asking me to attend the interview along with my spouse.
I heard from a lawyer that in one situation, a dependent went to a interview while primary applicant was waiting in the parking lot and the interviewer asked her to call her husband to attend interview ðŸ¤

@Ven d thanks. I just went through your posts. I hope you get the approval soon. I have been put in administrative processing several times while applying for visas in the past and your experience sounds similar to that, which I am dreading for the time it takes.
