PD 6Dec2023 no update Yet

They are not really processing old cases at all (no matter how old). By looking at the number of case approvals in the past few days, it’s all premium cases. For example, in a typical day only 3-5 out of 700 processing cases in a block within Dec 23-Jan 24 got approved. The processing time that just went up to 17 months is actually for the processed cases, the actual current processing time is 19 months I guess.

@Duc Hoang Agree, only less than 1 percent of approvals are from old cases, others are premium cases.

Same situation with me. Do you guys think it’s worth going PP at this time? I ask because I’ve came to believe that that the number of RFEs are on the rise right now, so maybe it’s probably better to wait until this tendency changes before our case gets adjudicated. Or should we just go for it?

@Felipe F I am not going for pp yet because the live agent told me that they have reviewed your case last month, in May. But i have not heard from them.

It means you're in the 20% of the remaining. They only process when your case is near the filing date.

I am 09237 Nebraska Center with January 03/2024 and last week I received RFE. I was waiting more than 17 months and now I am working in my unexpected RFE 😔

@Felipe F I’m only paying for PP if I get an RFE or my date becomes current (unlikely). holding strong for now

Yesterday I spoke with my attorney, and he told me that at this point—where my petition has been pending for over 560 days—it's not advisable to pay for premium processing. He said that if I do, I will almost certainly receive an RFE, as they are currently issuing generic RFEs in waves for that type of upgrade. He suggested that since I’ve already waited 18 months, it’s better to just keep waiting without making that payment, as the officer might feel pressured or harassed. In other words, I just have to keep waiting.

PP is the way

I have been waiting 500 days still no answer I won’t go PP ,I just have to wait .

My PD is December 26, 2023 (actively being reviewed since December 30, 2023). No decision yet. Block Number: IOE09237
