@Ati Ozk I’m anxious as you are. I follow our situation in Case Hilites app. if you open Overal Stats section there and chose I485_MSC_LB-FY23 (which is our category, yours and mine) , you can see that 14213 cases are pending/CRP. I follow it during 1 week. during this week they picked only 5!!!!! cases, because “pending” moved from 14218 to 14213. thus , imagine, we are ones of those 14213. how much time it is going to take till they pick our cases ? God knows. attorney says from 6 month (most probably) till 1 year (possibly)

@DA AR i follow casestatusext statistics and my findings are not different than yours. they do not care CRP, first they finish all other than CRP. trying to calm myself. so hard

@Ati Ozk yes, looks like they pick more from other categories. cz they work about several hundreds daily , and almost nothing is being picked from CRP. it is hard, very hard to wait after all we have passed through. I just do not know what to do . theoretically, you can try to raise service request through Emma chat. they’ll them “my case is current since … date and is not being worked, I want to open service request. Emma agent will create for you service request and will will provide you its number . after that agent supposed to send you email with updates or why they do not open it.

@Maite85 X They do not notify FO transference. if interview is scheduled, then yes, they notify. they can transfer to any FO, not necessarily your local, and they will not notify in this case

@DA AR , this is exactly what i asked my lawyers.. to raise a service request. waiting..

@Ati Ozk I did it myself many times , even did 3 inquiry requests, and one was appointed! it is not very difficult. just be sure they provided service request case number to be able to follow

@Ati Ozk you start chatting with live Emma agent , and you inform that your case is current since certain time, and still has no updates , and you want to open inquiry. they open an inquiry and usually provide its number to follow . if do not provide , so you ask them this number . case tracker shows those inquiries! in some me days after inquiry opened you will get response by email from an officer , he/she can do smth or can simply say “your case is being processed normally” . this depends on luck , I guess

Just raise a service request and follow up. I have done that and waiting for response. Who knows how long it takes!

Perhaps it’s time to sue USCIS!

@Ati Ozk I have been crp since April last year when final action dates retrogressed for EB2. Been current since Jan 1. I just had a chat with EMMA for the first time ever and was told there are still waiting for the Department of state to release visa numbers for review to continue

do they get monthly visa numbers?

CRP since Dec 2023. Current as of Jan 2024. Emma says case now at NBC (moved from LA FO) since early Jan. EB1, PD is July 2019. No movement!

CRp since Nov 2023, Pd current with Jan 24 bulletin

The evidence we have do point to them not even starting on MSC CRPs : Filed exactly a year ago, Priority date August 2022, CRP since late October, current as of Jan the first.

I see many people in this situation with late July or August PD. my theory is they reached the monthly quota and are waiting for Feb for new visas to be available. just trying to be positive here..

@Allie O I consider pending to be CRP. “fingerprints taken” and CRP are definitely different sections , cz CRP is not automatic status, is the status which can only be applied by an officer, while “fingerprints are taken” is automatic status which computer put. those with “fingerprints are taken” were not checked by an officer.

@DA AR a batch has like 9999 cases. I am wondering how can we predict the que number of our case 🥹

@hope ful I’m not 100% sure how he cape up to that, I know for sure , my batch has 3590 cases. cz if you open https://www.casestatusext.com/cases/ and find my batch it is written there . moreover , they publish dangly how many from batch were approved with number of approved cases and they case history. I believe the guy who created this excel sheet used their statistics

These CRP cases are assigned to different officers. The officers are also saddled with other responsibilities from other case types. Their goal is to ensure all CRP cases are completed before next FY2025

@Mr Green that’s a good news. how do you know all of that?

@hope ful I’m not sure they are going to move FAD too much next quarter to ensure most CRP in this quarter are attended to. Also I observe majority of the officers have an average of 100 cases at hand. Assuming each officer approves one CRP a day, in the next 100 days most of those CRP would have been depleted!

@hope ful status quo. no change. Emma confirmed today that my case is at NBC, and that an officer reviewed my case on 2/9.

@Mr Green that is insightful. i wonder how they are prioritizing cases. lots of MSC cases approved. my receipt block is LIN232525@@@@ and this block has 9 pending cases for a while now. no movement on CRP since Jan 2024

@KD journey There are lots of factors that goes into how they rank those cases. (1) You have to be current (2) What EB type are you (1,2,3, etc) (3) When you filed AOS took biometric (4) Officer case load. Some officers are workaholic some work like snail. Overall, some are not immigration friendly. Also they don’t pay them well. (5) How complex your case is. Filing alone vs filing with dependants. (6) Erroors resulting RFE. The list goes on. As for me, I found out CRP cases around my filing date and biometric date are getting approval right now. They are handled by the same officer. I’m still CRP but my officer currently have 87 CRP cases to handle and approved one CRP case per day. So I anticipate 30 to 87 Days time I will be done.

@Mr Green well explained and I agree for the most part. i have also noticed that cases that were not filed concurrently, and have just 1-2 moves between SC to FO/NBC seem to have a faster processing time. could be a coincidence. I for example am EB1A India and PD is current. filed concurrently with i140 in July 2023 and recvd ead/ap in record 3 months. from there, case moved to NBC and LA FO, and then rfe for medicals although we sent initially and once rfe response received, case in CRP from Dec. with PD being current for Jan, no movement so far. Emma says, case in NBC and officer reviewed 2/9!! hope this context will help someone too.

@Mr Green to add some more, when I look up my receipt block cases, very very few are pending, like about 9 and this number has been the same for almost 4-5 weeks now, rest are at fingerprints or transferred to new jurisdiction. even those approved are moving only from statuses that is not CRP (ofcourse) so I am not sure what this means about the workload of the officer.

@Mr Green could you please look at the progress of officer handling cases in my block. I see 173 CRP and they haven’t approved a single case in couple of days. Msc2390304282

@hope ful I can only check by weekends (Saturdays), need to be in the mood plus other that’s when they update everything for the week.
