Credit Card debt consolidation
Hello Everyone, I have my i485 pending (EAD approved). I was in F-1 student and have my i485 pending through GC- holder spouse. I am trying to apply for credit card debt consolidation but I am confused if that will hurt the immigration process (most probably during interview). I also graduated and will be starting to work from upcoming month.

@Aa JJ loan officer asked to consult about this… so just out of my curiousity I wanted to know if it affects immigration process in any way

no that’s fine I had multiple credit card before my I 485 was approved and I didn’t have a problem. you could also had your spouse as a authorized user that would help your case

no problem, it has nothing to do with immigration, unless to push officer at ti.e of interview that I have so much debt and I will be a burden for you..
