CR1 visa interview
hello guys! I wonder if anyone could help me
So NVC approved our case on 12.12.2023, my husband provided the tax forms( 1040 form) for last 3 years which are 2020,2021,2022
now we have our interview scheduled on 2024, does he have to provide the tax form for 2023 as well?

yes if you interview is after april 15.

You only needs 3 years tax document prior to your approval, not necessary tax document after approval but meanwhile your partner can go with most recent tax document if you have filed it. Talking from experience same thing happens when I filed for my wife and she’s here in the states with me now

I submitted the 2022 2023 the previous years doesn’t have to be three years could be a previous year they approved it and we got interviewed scheduled on may 2024

we received approval at nvc in december 2023 but we did the taxes for 2023 recently , i’m not sure if we need to provide them at the interview but i guess, we’ll do that

just one week after approving my documents, they sent me an email letter letter a townhome one day

hi we submitted the documents on november 17th got approved on december 13th 2023 and the interview is scheduled to be on 04.25.2024

our lawyer told us 4-5 months after submitting the documents but it really depends on how busy the embassy is
