It is not auto update. When they review the case this kind of updates gets triggered. Hopefully you will hear good news soon! I observed the same update on my case when expediting a few days later expedite approved.

I got the same notice this afternoon and I believe it means that the case has finally reached the desk of the officer who will review your case. My filing date is December 22, 2022.

That status update is often generic and does not necessarily mean you personally received an RFE. USCIS sometimes uses correspondence was received and USCIS is reviewing it when they receive internal responses, congressional inquiries, service requests, attorney responses, transferred files, or even system-generated updates. After a long period with no movement, it can sometimes simply indicate that the case has been reopened for review or touched by an officer. While it does not guarantee approval, many applicants do see movement after this type of update, especially on long-pending cases
