Consulate Processing
After submitting Civil Documents, I received an email from NVC that states, “The National Visa Center (NVC) received all of the fees, forms, and documents that are required prior to scheduling your immigrant visa interview at a U.S. Embassy overseas. NVC will work with the U.S. Embassy/Consulate General in Montreal, Canada to schedule an interview appointment for you. Once we have confirmed an interview date, we will send a notice to you, your petitioner, and attorney (if applicable).” Does this mean I can consider myself to be “Documentarily Complete”? I asked because nowhere in the email did they use the word Documentarily Complete, as was the case with other people that I have seen.
