August 15th, 2023 Texas Service Center waiting from Mexico. No approval yet

nothing gonna happen in this service center till 13.5 months may be more, I have submitted earlier on 07 december 2021, in Texas SC but they denied my I-130 petition for alien relative after one year, I submitted again my I-130 petition on 07 Feb 2024, Still shows actively review for 7 months in potomic service center.

applying from outside the country is beyond draining .. i130 approved October 2023… interview done April 2024.. it’s 6 months since interview and 1 year since i130 approval.. status is still on READY since July and multiple date update.. senator involved but nothing yet.. nothing prepares one for the emotional strain

I am December. Texas. I feel you. I am having a hard time understanding why consular processing takes so long…. thankful to be with my husband during this time but I have to give a decision to the school I teach at soon, for next school year.

You should contact your congressman when you are almost reaching the 15 months in USCIS because the average time for approval is 14 to 15 months now

@Munawar Saeed you can call or email either your state senator or county representative you can look up their information online and reach out to them about assisting with your case.

@Syd jay Yes I agree, this whole process is very difficult and regardless what you try to get results nothing seems to help at least in my case. I’ve tried expedite and congressional inquiry was denied for expedite after being approved and congressional inquiry was basically told I’m in normal processing and to wait. Beyond drained and exhausted.

@K 🇺🇸 D 🇭🇳 yes I’m considering taking a remote position to be able to be with my husband during this time. I really don’t understand why ones who are already in the USA are priority. I get we are all waiting but help us out a little lol

my congressman has been no help told me to wait until June 2025 to reach out. we are reaching 14.5 months now and still a waiting game 😭
