I contacted my congressman to help me expedite. I expedited 3 times and it wasn’t until the third time I heard back from USCIS saying they’re reviewing my case and that they received my supporting documents needed to expedite. keep in mind that I haven’t submitted any evidence directly fo USCIS. so I think that the evidence I gave my congressman is the one they’re talking about.

Mine didn’t help at all, USCIS only got back to them after the congressman helped me make an inquiry into my case, saying the same thing USCIS had told me in the past- case undergoing background security check and that there’s nothing they can do to help. So it was a total waste of time as far as I’m concerned.

C C did anything happen on your case after those 90 days passed?

my congressman helped me expedite my EAD which I received 3 weeks after

Yes, my case was finally transferred after me failing to get it moved myself for 4 months, and after it got to the FO they waived my interview. my Congressman has supported my case for 2 years throughout various delays so it's not an overnight solution. the Congressmans office have a liason officer they can email faster than we can connect to USCIS ourselves or via an attorney. you must still meet the criteria for an expedite request or a response. I found it helpful and submitted my medical RFE. my Congressman wrote the field office to say it was delivered to bump my request but I would not expect a reply from the FO before January. they get 90 days to respond and it's on us to keep chasing our case at each milestone. it's not fair and it's not going to change.
