have you a new case number ?

I thought all you needed is the case number if your doing the K1 thing. I'm waiting for my case number from the NVC since being Approved back in May

This is the welcome letter! In the email there is an attachment. How many days passed from your approval to getting this email? I'm on day 67 of waiting for this email 🥴

yes that's the welcome letter. it should be in transit and in a few days your case will be ready

if you go to Visa tracker you should be able to track your case with just the case number

@JJP I don’t know that’s why I’m so confused lol by the way thx it’s still telling me several weeks 😏and it says no status I’ll try the visa tracker

@Diana Etienne Ohhh ok I thought there was going to be more instructions on what to do with the welcome letter but I got it the email on day 48 after my approval. my friend got hers on day 18 but she got an actual letter not a email and she got better details too that’s why I was confused 🫤

I just got the same message too on Aug 16. you should get another email with a attachment with a letter that has a K1-FTP number on it. that letter will have the case number on it along with the location of were the interview will take place. you will need to have that letter printed off to bring to the interview

I used Rapid Visa and so they have a visa case tracker I use. I tried going into that ceac site too and it asked for some invoice number. so I found a case tracker link thru rapid Visa and was able to see it say case in transit on Aug 16. then 2 days later case Ready it said

JJP I did get that email so you paid the visa application already because did the visa application but didn’t pay yet maybe that’s why mines says no stay

yeah you'll need to pay the fee . are you doing k1 Visa? once you pay the fee, you will need the confirmation from paying the fee and doung the ds160 form if your doing the K1 Visa. once both are done then you can set up a embessy account but need to wait atleast 24 hours after your fee is paid

and ds160 is complete

yes I’m doing k1 visa when they sent me that email there was a link for the ds160 so I completed it but I have not paid yet

ok I guess I have to send the money to my fiancé to go and pay it because it’s not letting me pay for it from here

I can tell you that once you pay $265 and wait 24 hours you'll be able to log into the link in the email to set up a account and find a slot for a interview date. once you set the interview, you should schedule the medical within 2 weeks of interview. your almost there I can tell you that because we just got same email and our Visa process went to ready pretty quickly. specifically after paying fee and doing ds160 online form . soon you'll be scheduling your interview date. like within the next week

as long as you pay the fee of course too

that's what I did. sent her the money. she paid for it. got confirmation receipt and it updated at site administrator at embessy in 24 hours
