Conflicting USCIS Live Agent Answers
Yesterday, I noticed that there was a recent timestamp but no event codes. So, I reached out to a live agent through Emma and asked about the latest update on my case and whether it was still with the NBC. They said the case is currently being processed at my local field office. Today, I contacted another live agent to ask about the latest update and which field office is handling my case, and they said it’s still at the NBC and that the last update was that my biometrics were reused. Is this normal? Also, I really want to reach out to another live agent, but I’m worried they might start getting annoyed. Do live agents see if I’ve contacted them before?

those live agents are useless to say the least. they take all the time in the world, give some BS answer and close the chat immediately

@Einar Adam just out of curiosity, did you notice any changes in myProgress tab after the api update?
I had a similar update and my myProgress changed to 7 months. I couldn’t figure out from the agents if my case moved

@M I Yes, I noticed that the “estimated time until your case decision” went down from 16 months to 13 months, which is why I believed the first agent when she said my case had moved to the local field office. But when I checked again twice, they said it’s still being processed at the NBC. So, I thought that was weird experience but I guess it was just normal to get conflicting information.

I had the similar experiences. However I understood that each agents sees our cases differently, but when one agent tells you it is transferred to field office it is correct, they don't inform you by mistake, they just tell you what they see in their screen, some can see the most recent update some cannot
