COMBO CARD
Good Evening Everyone, my combo card was approved late last year. My question is what are the risk of me traveling out of the country to go home and visit The Bahamas to see family for just a week seen that a family member has passed away? If I’m denied entry will they cancel my I-485 card that’s in processing and not be allowed back into the United States? I want to also point out that my I-130 is approved over a year ago so I’m only waiting for my I-485. Late last year my lawyer said if I don’t have to travel she’d recommend I didn’t and again if I can’t go I’ll be okay but it’s been almost 4 years an just would like to know what’s the risk? Another question is it possible to expedite a I-485?

I read about this, since you applied while in the country you are safe to leave the country and come back while your approval is pending but double check me before leaving.

@Kenny G I went last year to Bahamas with advanced parole I-131 but on Daca and had no issue. As you know Bahamas is one of the few countries with US custom and border in there airport. When going just have your document to show the check in agent and Bahamian customs also requested to see the document. When returning you will have to show everything to US customs as long as you have no record and your passport is not expired you should be fine. I was placed in a room while they reviewed my documents for less than 10 minutes, they stamp my passport and advance parole document and I left and waited to board my flight back to the US.

What does it mean if a case is being actively reviewed by USCIS? Our records show nothing is outstanding at this time.? i get this message yesterday

Thanks for sharing. I did it on the App "Inmigra USA" the community of Immigrants in the United States. inmigrausa.com There are immigration lawyers and free collaborators. Stay up to date on news of interest to the Latino community. Search Inmigrate USA. I chose the Florida community, it looks like they are starting now, so I recommend you choose Florida. Busca inmigra USA el app del inmigrante, de verdad es muy buena tambien. Thanks!!!
