Combo Card
Good Morning Everyone, my combo card was approved late last year. My question is what are the risk of me traveling out of the country to go home and visit The Bahamas to see family for just a week? If I’m denied entry will they cancel my I-485 card that’s in processing and not be allowed back into the United States? I want to also point out that my I-130 is approved over a year ago so I’m only waiting for my I-485. Late last year my lawyer said if I don’t have to travel she’d recommend I didn’t and again if I can’t go I’ll be okay but it’s been almost 4 years an just would like to know what’s the risk? Another question is it possible to expedite a I-485?

you will be fine but just wait for your green card it coming soon you are almost done ✅ i haven’t seen my family in 8 years i got my green card I was ready to travel then find out im pregnant lol 😂 then I’m waiting for the baby to be born so another wait that I will have to do the passport for the baby I’m waiting patiently God know best

in my unprofessional opinion , if your us spouse cannot come with you to visit your family , it’s better to not to travel alone internationally. I heard 130 approved long time ago and 485 pending for a long time it can be uscis being suspicious of the relationship

@the three time AR lost hoper you might be correct, the only reason it’s approved is because the first time I applied I was out of Status at the time and my wife was a greencard holder, she then got her citizenship and I reapplied, but didn’t have to reapply for the I-130 because it’s was approved in the pre-filing.

if you want to travel then go see your family and come back. A lot of people here can advice but based off assumptions but nobody knows for sure because they don’t work in that office. Nobody will stop you when you’re coming back to the US but at the end of the day it’s up to you to make the decision.

Please never lose hope. Fight for your rights. You can sue USCIS for delay on your own, my friend did it for his delayed case, and got papers within 45 days. Do youtube search to learn more about it "writ of mandamus pro se"
