but your date is not current for FAD. also, the normal bulletin has resulted to using FAD not DOF

Hi @Johnson Control can you help me with the meaning of FAD & DOF. I'm not familiar with those acronyms.. thank you very much !

FAD means final action date. Once you are current with the FAD,the NVC can begin to process your case. DOF means date of filing. The time you can submit your application to NVC, but no action is expected until your FAD is current. However, if you’re already in the US, you may receive some benefits such as EAD and AP when you file with DOF, but your green card will be pending until your FAD is current.

I honestly think give USCIS a call👍 They are usually very good over the phone

hi @PjVi Zada I have the same priority date, and I’m ready with the NVC and after to send my civil document to NVC they respond me that I was documentarily qualified in a month. if you don’t have your documentarily quilified yet, you need to send a NVC a request.

Hi @geomar rios , do you have adjustment of status ? How did you submit your documents? Did you send them digitally through the CEAC system or physically via postal mail?

hi @PjVi Zada no, I don’t have AOS, My process it’s gonna by consular process. I summited my document in September 2024 and October I recived the NVC notifications the my documents were already, the next step it will be interview in embassy. the document was sent by physical by postal mail.

@PjVi Zada hello. any updates on this. did you send the documents physically? If so, shipping company gave you a tracking number?. Are you sure they received your Documents?

i am in the same case , the date of filling is 1 aug 2023 , we have to wait untill visa bulletins move forward
