hey guys,
who's here had their n-400 for naturalization application processed in california? Just wanna ask what is the chance that oath taking can be the same day as interview?
also, if I upgrade my case from f2a to cr1 will the processing timeline include the time spent while case was f2a or will it be another year to wait?

el caso se aprobaría de una vez desde que comuniques y , es al azar la juramentacion el mismo día, eso es un día cualquiera con más de 1000 personas . pero para la cita depende por donde valla tu país por la cita de ciudadano, ejm en RD van por Nov 2023

it all depends on the USCIS. I had my case got approved the same day they changed my status from f2a to ir-1 but my brothers case is still pending since june 2024. they didn’t even change the application type from f2a to ir-1. so basically it’s how lucky you are to get approved earlier they will not give you any reason for delay except they have too much backlog.
