change process from eb3 to marriage
hello guys, I under eb3 unskilled process, my priority date is June 2021, but I don’t want to wait longer, my boyfriend will get married me, do you think that I need to do cancel my eb3 unskilled process?
If I send the documents my lawyer said we can skip the work authorization and travel documents,
please give me any tips, I will do the case by myself since the lawyer charge $4000 plus Uscis fee more that $4000 more.
any advice tips
how long will take my green card if I get married !

Don't withdraw your EB GC process until you get your marriage base GC. The timeline for marriage base GC varies anywhere from a few months to a year. it's unpredictable with USCIS hence why maybe worth applying for EAD and AP now because it cheaper with the I-485 but because of the unpredictablity in USCIS process you could get the GC before those two application and think you wasted your money. so this is a personal decision if you want to invest in those application. congratulations on the marriage all the best.

I doing EB-3 and marriage at the same time. my lawyer said we can keep both status. if one of them give us GC first, the other one will cancel.

can you elaborate what your lawyer mean by saying you can skip the EAD and travel docs? Do we need to apply for a new EAD for marriage base or we can still use eb3 ead?
