change of Address
My husband and I recently moved to a new address. He already received his two-year green card. On the USCIS website, there's an option to update the address by providing the receipt number and A-number. Even though his case is approved and he has his green card, should he use the receipt number and A-number from our previous case? After updating the address on the website, is there anything else he needs to do? As a US citizen, I tried to change my address through the app, but I encountered an issue. “Do not use this request to change your address if: You have submitted an affidavit of support for another person and you are a U.S. citizen” I search on google and it says that I need to file form 1-865, Sponsor's Notice of Change of Address” what should I do I need help ASap.

@m r Google “AR-11 address change” then flow the instructions. You don’t have to have a pending case to be able to update your address. Only your alien spouse is required to update their address

@m r yeah, U can use your GC receipt & A number to change your address. I changed my address before filing my I-751, & I received all my Notices at the new address.

@m r You can, if you want to. Your husband should also call them to verify that they indeed have the new address
