GC received but DOB information incorrect!!!
Hi all,
First of all, I wish all of you have received or are going to receive your GC!!!
Secondly, I was notified my GC was being printed 5 days ago and today it was just delivered with Priority Mail by USPS. Great!
Unfortunately, my DOB is incorrect with DAY. Actually, this was already corrected by my attorney's request before (last June) upon the copy of notice letter. On the Biometric appointment (Aug 2021), I also told the officer at the Field Office and he said, he would correct it on system as well. Who knows the incorrect date remains there!
I told my attorney just now and requested them to submit the service request.
Did anyone of you had ever this experience to correct the incorrect information on GC? The back of the instructions said it can contact 1-800 number or USCIS website.
I just wonder if this is considered "incorrect" on the original application Form I-765 or USCIS typographic information. Any thoughts?
Thanks
Wayne

Thanks for all of your suggestions! Can I still keep using this card? Will I be questioned when I reenter the US with this card?

m & m , do you mean you have not used your green card to travel? You mentioned it is almost a year and you're still trying to correct a typo error BEFORE your docs come.

I submitted I-90 to USCIS and on my USCIS account it already shows the receipt number on file. I also made expedite to my Representative's Casework inquiry (Privacy Release Form Submission). I hope it would be processed soon no matter if I can use the current card.

I filled up the Form I-90 to replace my card. The receipt number was issued and wait for further instructions.

Cyrille D. What do you mean “updated”? Did you get any document to prove it was corrected?
My attorney sent request when we found the error last Jun. Unfortunately, USCIS just has not “updated” it and it caused the error on my GC. So frustrating!

Hi all, Updated information for your reference- I received the letter of notice after filing I-90 to replace my GC with incorrect birthday. My attorney said, I should get ADIT stamp on my passport in order to traveling. I asked Emma (before receiving letter) and she said I should have no problem to reenter US with the document (notice letter) and the customs officer can find my I-90. Today, I called USCIS again in order to clarify if I can make an appointment to Application Support Center (ASC). The answer machine kept telling me I can travel with the document (I-90 Notice and updated DL) within 18 months before new GC is issued. It seems that I should be secured though my I-90 purpose is to correct the birthday.
It gave me a lesson. Always try to find the information on USCIS/your account regarding the application status or instructions on notice (either letter or account). The network here or even attorney is just for you to "share" experience of each one. You are the person who should identify and judge based on the documents.
Best wishes for ALL!

Not yet. Actually, I got biometrics appointment that I suppoaed to be there on 7/11. However, I already planed to travel overseas. Thus, I requested the resceduled date for biometric. Today, I just returned US and the customs officer even didn’t ask anything about my GC, though he checked my GC.

I went to Application Support Center to do fingerprints and I was just notified by USCIS there would be nothing needed from me. I should receive the new card soon.
