Not necessarily. the only reason they get transferred is to minimize the wait times. in some cases, Nebraska or Texas may decide to pursue it. I won’t make any inferences from this. Also, NBC doesn’t adjudicate the case, it is still sent to the field office.

@Raj S @MG S I believe that as of April 2022, the USCIS has directed the Texas and Nebraska service centers to cease adjudication of all employment-based I-485 (except EB4) and transfer those cases to the NBC for adjudication.

yes, that’s correct unless the cases have already started being adjudicated at Neb / Tex. My case is at NBC as well from the past 1 month :(

@MG S I would say it is unlikely. For your reference, if you check my timeline on my profile, I filed the I-485 on July 3, 2023 and it was only transferred last week. I’m also EB1-C with PD current since I filed.

mine was at Nebraska the whole time from filing back in Jun 2023. it just changed to New Card being produced at Nebraska

my case moved from tsc to nbc the 12/21/2023

My PD is April 21st, 2023 with I-140 approved in July, 2023. Concurrently filing and my I-485 was transferred from TSC to NBC on December 5th. Still pending here…. 🥺🥺
