going through 5 months and still have not heard anything

My I-130 got approved back in May and I waited I though they were going to sent to NVC but few days ago that’s when I knoles that maybe something happened I call them and they told me to file I-824 within few weeks I got approved

the mistake ppl make oh i130 is you put that they going to apply for adjustment of status and apply for a visa in the USA consulate

the mistake I made was that I forgot to mention where I was going to apply for visa from that’s why they had me apply for I -824 to give them permission to send my case to NVC
