@Mohamed, he initially had a B2 visa but then applied for asylum. so his Asylum had been pending for a while. the officer that interviewed us was very strict but polite. He never asked me anything. He only spoke to my Husband and asked him about the reasons why he applied for asylum. we brought a whole binder of proof but he never even looked at it or asked for it. we were done within 20 minutes.

congratulations! I had my interview today in Long Island office, too. Got approved 3hours later. I was stressed, but got lucky the agent was nice and welcoming. the interview went easy. then I learned that I was overthinking things😄
