Close to 6 years roller coaster journey ends into peace. grateful to myself for not giving up. simple advice- go with an experienced VAWA lawyers.. my first lawyer gave me full of anxiety and created fear in my heart by his inexperience action and words and then changed to an experienced lawyer when I received RFE and got the case approved within a month. Do yourself a favor & peace of mind to go with a strong and experienced lawyers.

@m&m s @November 2022 if you guys have cases that long pending that means your cases hold substantial power to be deserving in VAWA category and eventually approved. RFE’s all about doubt that USCIS would have based on the missing things in the file in order to be approved ur case hence hiring or changing experienced lawyers would know how to respond and make things easy for USCIS (they have empathy for us)… you guys shouldn’t be thinking of RFE’s instead think of how it will be responded with the help of VAWA experienced lawyers!! my RFE was awful with many pages felt like I lost it and I did the right thing and made life easy on everyone and eventually got it approved.

thanks you guys. @King 001 @It’s possible in RFE there were questions raised almost in all documents I submitted hence told me I wasn’t eligible… and trust me I submitted a lot… lot of pages of documents to support my case stronger!!!

@summerlover 07 I knew with my current lawyer he would not be able to pull 10 pages of RFE so needed someone who would create a new file again for me including all new things the one which haven’t been submitted before… it’s like creating new VAWA file & submitting again… new lawyer charged a lot because it’s NYC and @It’s possible in the process I realized it’s not WHAT you submit, it’s the way HOW you submit… so we did it and got approved within a month….!!

wow congratulations im waiting since January 2021 no rfe work travel and pf been getting regularly do you think i still have a chance to approve ? congreswoman said background check did they tell you same thing? if you did inquiry tho
