Case transferred to Boston field office from NBC even though my local field office is Norfolk, VA
Hi all, I messaged Emma and was transferred to a live agent and asked a few questions about my case today. it was recently transferred from NBC to Boston FO. my processing time recently changed from taking longer than expected to 2 months (I suspect this is why). my interview is still waived and my medical documents were sent with the initial application. I filled with a reputable immigration lawyer. PD June 30th 2023. biometrics taken July 14th. Should I expect a possible approval in the next few months?

like I said my processing time updates 2 weeks ago. would make sense that was because my case was transferred

I am at Norfolk Field office. I filled my application August 3rd, 2021. My case was not transferred but from “your case is taking longer then expected”, went to 4 months, than 3 weeks, than 1 week and back to “your case is taking longer then expected”. I spoke to an agent and I was told that my case is in normal processing times even though is been almost 3 years. I can’t send an Inquiry until April, 2025. The timeline they show on your account means nothing. It’s just frustrating…
