Case transferred from FO to NBC
Any recent 485 cases transferred to NBC?
My case has been with Honolulu Field Office (not local) since Dec 2022 (got no official notice other than a random USCIS email).
Then as of 30th May 2023, my USCIS case status updated to show it’s been transferred. Physical notice received too, that it’s now with NBC.
Weird that it’s gone from a non-local FO to the NBC, but I guess any movement is positive?

@Ali Reza Oh ok. May be interview is required and they want to send it to your USCIS local office. What is the reason for the transfer as stated in the notice?

@Selith H God knows, now my status says that my case remains pending and work on my application has been temporarily paused due to a visa not being available - all very weird!

@Ali Reza May be they have exhausted the 7% maximum for your country. I believe NBC will approve your case without an interview once a visa number become available. Good luck!
