Case Transfer
I did a live agent chat today and they informed me that my case was transferred to the Baltimore Service Center from Potomac. I didn’t receive any updates from USCIS in my portal or via the mail. Is that normal? If so, what are the typical case processing times at Baltimore compared to Potomac? Thank you!

normal not to get a notification. it’s good it moved from a service center to a field office. they might actually look at it!

@Austin H how many times have they update your processing time after telling you "taken too long to process " I am Potomac too PD 01/03/2023 and just on Monday they updated my processing time to 2 months after saying taken too long to process for over 3months

@moon sun when you chat with the Emma robot on the website type “live agent” and then select live agent and then they’ll connect you to a real person. they may or may not be helpful.

@Martins Chima My processing time hasn’t been updated since I filed basically. Around the beginning of June it said “six weeks” but the next day it went back to saying “longer than expected.”
