Case taking time
Hi,
I just received the following response from USCIS and wanted to check with you if anyone have any clue or experienced this response:
U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) records indicate that these cases are under review with and Immigration Services Officer at this time.
We are unable to determine at this time when the review process for the these cases will be completed.
USCIS will issue a decision on these cases once certain issues are resolved. We are striving to resolve these issues as soon as possible.

@Ven d where is your application currently NBC or any field office. Also I am sure you have raised service requests and Congressman or WH requests. what was the reponse on those.

@Eb1 C my app is in Houston, TX FO. The above response was received from Cong'man. I see a trend on my case every time I reach Cong'man, USCIS ask to wait for 1/3 months. On the 4th cong'men req I was asked to wait for 3 months. I don't know what issue they are working on.

@Ven d In the previous requests did they give you any details on the anything related to what review they are going through and where the response came from NBC or Field Office?

@Eb1 C here is the response to my previous req from USCIS as on 4/9/24:
According to USCIS records, we are waiting for the results of the required security checks on your case before we can continue our review. All applicants for a U.S. immigration benefit are subject to criminal and national security background checks to ensure they are eligible for that benefit. USCIS performs checks on each applicant, regardless of ethnicity, national origin, or religion.
For most applicants, the process quickly determines if there are criminal or security-related issues that may affect eligibility for immigration benefits. Most cases proceed without an issue. However, due to both the volume of security checks USCIS conducts, and the need to ensure that each applicant is thoroughly screened, some delays on individual applications are inevitable.

@Ven d Any updates on your case, we also got the similar message stating security checks are pending, its been more than 100days now

Congratulations @Ven d How long it to clear the security checks? we are worried why the security checks taking long time. Our case moved field office on Aug 8th can we assume our checks completed? when we reached contact center today they mentioned security is pending. When we talked to Tier2 they said all good nothing pending.

@N R I encourage you to open WH requests. Make sure you get receipt email from WH on your request.

@Ven d How to request the WH requests? My receipt date was April 19,2024. We got expedite request approved on May 29, 2024. When we followed up on expedite again they said security checks pending. Now, does that helpful raising a WH requests?
