i filed i485 in july 23

my case status just changed to “case ready for interview”. same timeline like you. July 18 2023 submission.

@R Btz - I am in same boat where PD is mar 2018 with eb1c, but status is CRP with visa unavailable, but date current from Jan 2024 I asked my attorney to put service request to verify if my older PD is applied to I485? just FYI

That’s weird. what is your PD on your EB1 I-140? make sure that your EB2 PD is ported over. Also, FAD in 2020 does not mean that they won’t run out of visas, but I was not expecting them to. Good luck.

@D P Your I-140 approval notice (797) should have it.

There’s no way they ran out of visa for EB1 Indians in just 20 days in the quarter. My best guess is that you’re went to CRP somehow before Jan 1st but the status got updated just now.

@R J that is my guess as well. uscis has been quite unreliable with updates

@R Btz it’s strange. They work in a mysterious way. I guess it might be very temporary and could be a staging status before they approve your case. My PD is 2016 EB1A which is current so hoping some positive news by this month end because anyway we are entering the third week in January 2024.

@S SS i spoke to the agent yesterday and she mentioned that may be the visa numbers for this month just got over and you would just have to wait. so not sure what is going on? my lawyer emailed to me that it is standard uscis message.

@R J could be that also. but there is no way to find out that. the status change was bit shocking for me since its almost mid of month and my date is current since jan 24
