My status is also CRP, I have also heard from many people that once your status is that it means they have gone through your case and they do not need anything more but can’t issue GC as not current. For most people I have noticed in different groups, first status is interview is scheduled and then case remains pending. But I’m also curious to know if there are any exceptions.

I’m Oct 2022 and still pending but I think that’s normal I got my I-765 in Feb

@Illini Curtler yes I also know many peoples whos case first goes to rfe or interview and after that it goes to CRP . But I want to know is anybody get rfe or Interview after CRP.

so far as I have heard when they ask and you submitt the medical rfe they are not intending to interview and the case remains pending . I believe all case remains pending status is meant to be an interview exempt and simply waiting for dates to become current to approve i485.

I got an Interview on 8/22, and after 120 days, my case changed to CRP. My PD is 11/2020.

Hello everyone! my case status for I-485 just changed today to CASE REMAINS PENDING. my priority date is 12/10/2020. i am under the category of EB3-3. what does this mean? thank you in advance.

My case got “Case Remains Pending” twice since June 22, first time on June 22 and second time on Sept 22, still pending now 🤷

@nilufa akter did they interviewd or sent any RFE?

My case also got CRP in Dec 2022 while my PD was current, and this April I am scheduled to be interviewed.

@Bonnie L when is your interview date? This is interesting beacuse we were anticpating that CRP means interview waived or kinda pre-approval, but as per your case it does not seem so. I have seen people staus chnging to “Card Being Produced” after CRP. Bad luck in your case!

She is in eb2. She is not same our boat. Her situation has dependents, then the chance has interview increase.

@G V Her case is moving, that’s good! However, what I meant is she could have got approved without interview as per other cases where most of the people having CRP are getting gc without interview.

also guys if my final action date is June 01, 2022. what does that mean? I’m sorry im just learning about this today. so very unsure in this area.

sorry guys but @Bonnie L case is an exception not a rule that we have seen also she is EB2 that most has interviewed, I hope goes good for you and your family, I will keep my eyes on the community but all experiences that I have seen was “Case remaing pending” to “new card has been produced” for all EB3-others works when their PD is concurrent. Anything outside that is an exception, we have to consider everything but to be honest I am confident we all will get our GC as soon as our PD become concurrent after CRP.

I am EB2 NIW and I also have the CRP for a month as my PD is not current. I also have dependents but what I have read that most of the EB2 NIW cases don't go fir interview.

moreover Bonnie has a cross chargability that could be one of the reason for the interview. I wish @Bonnie L all the best for the interview and hopefully you will have GC asap. 🤞

you are right, i should’ve said that earlier but I am in eb2 category and the case wise it is more complicated bc I am using cross chargeability rule which usually requires interview. so the case is different here. (sorry if I added confusion!)
