case remains pending
hi everyone, I have filed my eb1 485 petition in November 2022. On March 23rd my case status changed to Case Remains Pending and have not heard anything after that. anyone in the similar situation?

yes, I have ported my dates to 2017 and my approved I140 has the date right on it, 2 weeks back USCIS approved my EAD and AP

@Nani K same is my case. my PD based on I-140 is June 2021. They approved my EAD and AP last week. no change on I-485 though.

they have approved my 485J, EAD and AP. But 485 is still pending

Quite strange that it is EB1 and PD is 2-17 which is current, and yet they are saying No Visa available.. My EB1 PD is March 2021..and my 485 is also pending still . Hopefully we all get our GCs soon..

@Nani K it’s really strange that your PD is 2017 which is current and yet visa numbers are not available. is it a sign of some ensuing retrogression? in 2018, retrogression for EB1 was moved back 6 years. I hope it’s not that bad this time and it’s just temporary.

@Nani K Probably it may be a good idea to have a chat with the Emma agent or have a call with USCIS agents to find out why your case remains pending even when your PD is 2017 which is current.

@S SS , I did called USCIS and he informed me that there are no Visa numbers to assign and once it gets available they should start working on it. Meanwhile today morning they approved my kids EAD, not sure what’s going on

hi @S SS my lawyer filed perm on 08/11/2021. and I sent my rfe on i485 on Monday. my category is eb31 row. i checked my status today it shows case remains pending. but my pd is current. I don’t understand . it is a good sign?

@ap ln If your PD is current and it has not retro then you should get your GC approved within a month or two. This is based on my observation. I have observed folks whose PD is current and still hit CRP, however within a month or two they got approved.

thank you @S SS I am really upset about the situation. I read some comments on reddit that they will not approve the cases till October 1. it is really hard to wait. I hope we will get approval soon🥹
