case not assigned
hi, what can I do if my case of i485 is not been assigned to any officer till now it’s 7 months although received EAD and Travel permit.

@faryal faisal You should check with Emma if it's still at NBC or moved to local, non-local FO. It's unfortunate progress

@m m Almost all the field offices show normal processing time greater than 20months. So service request can't be raised earlier.

the processing time is about 36 months. so, u just have to wait. mine took 9 months before they responded

@faryal faisal In this post you mentioned that case not assigned to an officer, nor it moved to a field office, nor interview waived. So maybe Emma wasn't giving you any information.

yes, but it’s been 2 weeks now, I don’t know but today it’s directly went to new card being produced
