@The Khali my friend had his 2nd interview this last Tuesday. He got denied because he wasn’t working. During his first interview he was working and I remember he said he gave a paystub in his first interview. But during second interview, he wasn’t working and his case got denied because of that.

It may be to cross check new details that wasn’t checked in last interview. since your last interview, has your pd been correct again?

@The Khali when was your first interview? I have completed my 1st interview on April 2024, Afterthat no update about my case. PD is November 2020. I submitted all documents during 1st interview like paystubs , job verification letter, W2 and F1 maintaining documents. Is there any chance to get 2nd interview for me ?

@Alex brown Same my interview was in end of April 2024, i give them also supJ and i asked officer will i have a second interview once retrogression is over and he told me no, everything looks good i will approve it.

@The Khali same 2021 may pd. did interview july 2024. all documents where submitted, paystub but last interview waiver got cancelled then the new interview was scheduled 4 days ago. lots of people are getting this update lately ultimately up to field office now to decide

@The Khali same here! and it has been 85 days.. I requested a tier 2 call and agent told me interview still can be waived.

@B M omg! what’s your field office? mine is in the same status 85 days and I thought I was the only one. have you tried all resources like service request and congress?

@GB B Milwaukee FO. I am not current so I didn’t try congress. I tried service request, but didn’t help.

@GB B We still need to wait till October now visa limit has been reached, they can’t do anything till October. Service request is useless. i hope they just approve us since we already had interview.

@The Khali I don’t know why they are scheduling for 2nd interview? even though we maximum submitted all documents during 1st interview. i already left a job recently. no plan to join again.

@Alex brown But this case “ case ready to be scheduled for interview “ means that field office has again your case it’s just generic update, and it’s in the queue for interview scheduling, i guess they can still see in field office that you had interview if agent is still there that worked on our cases. that’s my hope

@The Khali your point is logical. what was your i485 status before interview schedule update ? Mine is fingerprints were taken………… after completed interview.

already gave interview and also received RFE about a week after interview but status still same “ready to be scheduled for interview“.

@april 19 2021 can u tell us more. did he not take 485j again if yes then make sence otherwise this would 1st case that i heard getting denied on this basis unless other criminal or other issues? also u can file motion to repone if u have valid 485j since eb3 is future employment not current

usually what they are looking for in a second interview? maybe check if you are still working for the employer?

@The Khali It was pretty straightforward, basic yes no questions from the I485. The officer said that’s all she needed from me. I guess this is some kind of administrative formality at the moment. Are you still employed?

@abbb 2021 i got mine on Sep 4th but still not scheduled for an interview, it’s still on same update “ case is ready to be scheduled “ and Emma told me it’s processing and no interview date yet, but can’t tell me was interview waived but it is being assigned to the officer for a review that’s the latest update.

@sharmeen moona just checked with Emma. I’ve seen all my friends being scheduled for November 3rd.. Emma told me just now that mine was also scheduled on November 3rd and I will receive the letter by mail in 7 days…

@sharmeen moona Unfortunately no.. I have 2 friends that were interviewed in September, but there weren’t more visas available and their cases went to: case must be reviewed. They said that it was hard.. 😕

@sharmeen moona Thank you, I’ve already had first interview last April 2024 and i was not scheduled for a second one, but my update was “ ready to be scheduled for an interview “ and it went straight to approval from there, it never got scheduled for a second interview, Jacksonville, FL field office
