case I-130 went from 1 week to taking longer than expected November 20, 2023 receipt date
I am a US citizen in Texas. Husband is in Australia during the process of our I-130. Filed in November, November 20, 2023 receipt date. About a month ago, we got excited because our progress went from 4 months, to 1 week and then TAKING LONGER THAN EXPECTED. Anyone else have this happen and what now 🤷🏼♀️

Everyone gets that multiple times. Just ignore it. Our lawyer told us to expect 16-18 months

Hi, consular i130s take 14.5 months rn. i suggest using the uscis processing times tools instead : https://egov.uscis.gov/processing-times/

I am August 25th 2023, but I saw quite a few October Nov and December 23 were approved today at Texas Service center. My guess is the officer with that bulk of files is working very fast.
E RJun 4, 2024
@Jeremy Boisvert not necessarily. Some get approved in 5 months.

@E R people who get approved in November December are i130+aos. for i130 standalone now it takes 385/390 days 🥲
E RJun 4, 2024
@Aury V no it isnt. Consular processing for I: 130. They donot transfer AOS to NVC.
