so if filed i130 for spouse, they do security checks in US before approving standalone i-130?

@jay m i inquired about my case and also inquired via the congresswoman. they didn’t just send that. it’s only after I inquired.

@jay m yeah, they declined my expedite request twice as well… I’m in the dark now. I don’t have any criminal records. I don’t know what to do now. I’m extremely frustrated

if your case is within the processing time, you have to wait. I am over two years now of this processing. i130 got approved in one year buy due to a mistake I had to file i824. it been almost a year now and still counting
