Case Being Actively Reviewed
Hi there, My case got into the "actively reviewed" stage June 10th. It has now been over a month with no change. I am wondering if this is common- is there any way to get into contact with the Nebraska service center to see why it is taking so long in this stage? If it is taking this long, does it mean I filled out the forms wrong?
Let me know what your experience has been with this service center. #i130

1 month is no where enough time for them to look at your case. They take months and months to look at it. Some are extremely lucky and get approvals within 3-4 months but the majority is waiting over a year in Actively Reviewing status. I was actively reviewing for a year before they asked for initial evidence and this was because I escalated to Congress to inquire what was the hold up.

if it's more than two months then you've got to get in touch with USCIS for some answers

hello actively being reviewed since March 5, 2022 and my priority date is July 9, 2021 still waiting

to be honest it all depends on the agent reviewing your case, but to be on a safe side you always want to communicate or call them each time, that can help facilitate your case

my wife and I submitted the I30A and I130 online on Monday. we are doing the application ourselves, no lawyer. Today (Thursday) we received an email saying that it is actively being reviewed. does this normally go this quicl to the “actively being reviewed” status?
