case approved on 2nd interview after 1st interview denied
I’m overwhelmed with joy right now. I want to share with everyone who is/are struggling like me to had hope. Everything is possible and no one could close the door that God had open for you

we had a stokes interview for 2 hours. We got 2 answers that we didn’t match so the officer denied it right on the spot without hearing our explanation. He told my husband to withdraw the I-130 because he said he won’t approve us anyway.

what kind of question that didn’t match ? that seems harsh if it’s only 2 questions.

its normal questions like did you meet uncle yesterday/ what did you do on last Saturday?. we didn’t have lawyer with us and we didn’t know what to do for evidences and questions. Its our faults at the end of the day for underprepared so we try our best on 2nd interview and we did it (with lawyer)

How long after the first interview you got notice for 2nd one?

After the failure we learned our lesson so we came to talk with the lawyer. He suggested that we will re-apply the case all over again instead of file a motion. My lawyer told me that we have to wait around 10-12 months like normal case but I got the interview letter after 5 months submitted. My 2nd interview is around 20 mins, the officer was really nice and make me feel so comfortable. He didn’t separate us or ask us any mocking questions.

no my husband withdrawal I-130 so we met with the lawyer and he submitted it all over again like what we did in the benigning. My case is actually harder than having a second interview (another interview with same officer) because the officer interview me before denied our case completely

I am really glad it finish. When you got 2nd interview notice G56 , it said Strokes interview or just interview scheduled?

its a re-apply case so it look like normal interview notices. Its not G56, its a I-797c Notice of Action interview letter
