CASE APPROVED
after yesterday interview and the officer told me I have been approved, I didn’t believe him , I just woke up this morning and check my wife documents tab and I saw the I-130 approval notice sitting there , then not quite too long I go a message “we have taken action on your case and i logged in , My I-485 showed approved … I really want to thank everyone on this community for sharing and encouraging each other on this journey , I though it will take over a year but it’s less than 6months of my application

congrats bro. the way they delayed the EAD is crazy but the fun side is you get scheduled for interviews right after and there you are Approved.
very soon I shall rejoice just like you. we got the similar experience just mine took a bit longer. now I’m waiting for interview date to finish that journey.

@Anna B my interview was in Houston and it’s trick but if your relationship is real you will be fine, the have us pen and paper separately and ask us to write our answers and he will compare them later , the question was who cooks at home , what was the last thing we ate , the colour of our bedsheet and duvets, how many kids we wanted , then what we did on Valentine’s Day etc

@Don Kdj I’m telling you i ended up not using the EAD because I was approved less than a month after the EAD … I didn’t believe it will be this fast
