@Shan Bet It never really moved to field office after going to NBC was in a pile that was never going to be attended . since my husband is Indian origin they assumed it will be a longer priority and didn’t approve the case & it was being filed under cross chargeability under my country of birth . Had to approach the local congressman who initiated the check and let us know about this. After the congressman communication our case moved up and accelerated .

@the_waiting_game . Wow! I have similar situation. I am indian and my wife is ROW. We put the cross chargeability request last month. Don't know still if it is applied yet or not to our cases

hi @the_waiting_game, I’m in exactly the same boat, April 6,2021 cross chargeability, case moved to nbc in oct 2022 and no movement since. I’m Indian born wife is Canadian born. my attorney checked with tier 2 at uscis that cross chargeability has been applied. what exactly did you say to local congress person and how did you approach? did your attorney do it on your behalf? would help me immensely, thanks!

@the_waiting_game . our timelines are almost exact, april 6, 2021, I-693 in Sep 2021 and case transferred to nbc Oct 3, 2022
