@Amanda Paddy Thank you, Amanda!! My husband called USCIS this afternoon to ask if our case had been transferred to another Service Center and also to ask if there was any estimate on when they would review our case. The attendant said that we were still at the Nebraska Service Center and that the last time the case was seen was in December and that the approval time was 14 months. However, she said she would add a note to the officer that my husband had called to inquire about our case. About 3 hours after we called, the officer put an approval note on our case!! Keep the faith and keep trying!! God bless you!!

It will depend on the circumstances of your case. But the general documents are these:
>>> Sponsor documents:
✓ Proof of US Citizenship: Birth certificate + Passport
✓ Proof of US domicile
✓ Form I- 864
✓ Federal Income Tax Return (Transcript PDF) - Last 03 years
✓ Form W-2 Wage and Tax Statement (PDF) - Last 03 years or just the most recent
>>> Beneficiary documents:
✓ Full content birth certificate (It is the birth certificate that shows everything, whether you have been married, divorced, widowed, etc. Your current marriage must be included in this certificate). I don't know which country you are from, but here in Brazil we call this document a "Certidão de Nascimento de Inteiro Teor"
✓ Police certificate (Federal)
✓ Police certificate (State)
✓ DS-260
