@the strong VIP I applied my I 751 march 16 2023 and applied for n400 February 18 2024. got my interview scheduled July 8 and went for my interview today. Tnx for the wishes

@b a Congrats! 🎊 I start to see most people with a 751 pending, it takes about 5-6 months :/ I’m afraid I’ll miss the elections since I applied June 19th for my N400…

@John Smith you might have luck before October. don’t think because some are 5-6month you won’t get yours earlier. best of luck

@b a thanks! I appreciate it…. I got like 6 updates on my case since I applied… 6/19, 2 times on 6/20, 6/21, 7/11 and then 7/19… since then it’s been quiet…

@malik z I got only n400. when I got there the interviewer just said she needs to approve my I 751 first and she asked for joint account statement which I gave her, and she used like 10min on her computer and said your case has been approved. let’s move to n400 and she asked me 5 questions including read and write. and she asked about yes or no questions. that was all. I can see favor…. and she said would I be available on Monday next week and gave me the oath notice.

@b a for the updates I’m not sure… I saw the updates in a script when I inspected the HTML page (my account online - right click on a case and inspect) when I called uscis, they call it internal updates (when they save changes on your case). Apparently the latest (7/19) was a request for background check…. I know they use the background check as an excuse too when the case just seats in their system waiting for being worked on… so I don’t know…. and my i-751 had also an update on the 7/11 and they told me it was the application transfer … but I haven’t seen any changes online about this

@Pablo mari yes I did but they did not call him or ask of him. it’s better to go with him and tell him to wait at the waiting room

did you online status update to approved the same day of interview for both cases?
