@Kingsley B I came to the us with a fiancées visa. After marriage, I applied for I-485 only.

@God is good I wanted to sue them before. But I could not due to personal circumstances.

@Sam Ezzi I am very shocked it took so long. You were already here on your fiancé visa. I hope others also sue them. They need to hire more people or make some changes to the system. I fight a lot with my husband because of all of this. I am so anxious about it all and he thinks it is not a big deal.

@Kingsley B. yeah it's crazy. some offices do this delay. In Salt Lake City the processing times reached 40 months last year. This year is 30 months. Sometimes, they just sit on cases for long. Some cases are not treated fairly.

Normally, they do it for 5k. I did it for 3k cause the attorney wanted to help me. The day I hired him I was in a surgery room for cancer treatment. Payments are installments.

@i can't wait to see if the green card is really green. Usually attorneys charge around $5K. Many people file on their own as pro se with assistance with mandamus and guide, many got helped from facebook.com/mandamusprose

@Sam Ezzi congrats…this my next step for my husband…after 2 interviews n still no decision I’ve contacted our congress n White House still waiting to get a response

@Mary gij . Go for it. I did contacted congressman, senator, abusdman, and I submitted a bunch of inquiries and expedites. All were in vain.
