canada visitor visa, applying from US - question
If applying from the US for a canadian visitor visa, how long does it take? and how do you send your passport to get the visa stamp if there s no consulate in your state? thanks.

thanks for the comment, If I am american I wouldnt even be in this application. anyway, the question is for a person who is living in the usa on a visa and is applying to canada for a visitor visa (from the usa)

Took about 2 months for me start to finish. needed to give biometrics. passport sent to either NYC or LA. I sent mine to LA because I read it was faster. had my passport back in a week after sending.

JJ you can apply online it’s very easy and once your application is approved they will ask you to send the passport

I don’t whether he had the fingerprints for canada in last 10 years if not then he will need to give his Fingerprints

If you are LPR, don’t need a visa to go to Canada, only complete eTA online
