Can you switch/quit job after applying for family based green card?
Hi All,
Hope everything’s going well. I recently filed for family based green card, have my biometrics appointment this week. I’m wondering if leaving the job or changing the jobs for either of us (me and my spouse) affects the current family based application. Any insights will be helpful. Thanks I’m advance!

it’s shouldn’t affect it I had a different job when I applied and I just got approved few days ago

as long as you have a valid EAD under I-485 pending status, you should be ok to switch/quit jobs

Thanks for your responses! Advised to wait to leave a job until ead arrives or can leave before that? Biometrics is done, next step is to wait for EAD or any documentation that they might need.
