you are allowed to go anywhere even in your home country with the US Passport, you are now protected by us government abroad

@Pablo Escobar Yes you can, but not with your asylum green card (although still pending). Your resident card is for the US only but does not nullify your claims of asylum from your home country unless your persecutors are no longer there to harm you. and even if that were the case, USCIS will have grounds to terminate your residency as it was solely granted based on asylum claims.
