can I start to apply for job now?
I have been hesitant about if I should start to apply for a job now. Because the jobs I am going to apply for all requir reference letter from old boss. I worry if I ask for reference letter and apply for a job then USCIS somehow makes mistakes and don’t give me the EAD card. My case got approved on Saturday and it says they card is been produced. I don’t know should I keep waiting or what. I don’t know how long I need to wait more.

right. I should wait until I get the card. so I don’t wast my reference letter or job opportunity. just the waiting is really makes so anxious every day.

well I will suggest you start preparing your resume and looking up jobs you want to apply for , get your references all ready so when the card arrives next week or this week ending you can just start applying immediately .

wow it might arrive this week? this fast? I am wondering if they will updat like case was produced or card was picked up by post office or not.

start applying for jobs, I have my interview by the middle of this month and I’m already interviewing for jobs and I’m hopeful to get green card and job this same month . it’s called Faith

I agree Pepejj. It takes weeks to get a job. better to get the job and wait for EAD or GC. Going for job interview is a good experience too. not a waste of time if one is hunting for job

@LD You should receive the card no later than March 14. My status updated to card is being produced on March 1 and received the card in mail yesterday. You will also get status updated on when USPS picked up your card. On USPS website you can setup the tracker for free which send you message if any package is being sent to your address and you can follow where the package is currently at any time.

yes only five business days for us.. once you get usps tracking number in status “card has been picked by usps” you can just google usps tracking. enter the tracking number and enable message updates.

I don’t have my green card yet, but I started my job search last year. I have an offer to start as soon as my green card is in hand. my advice is to plan ahead, even though there is the risk of losing the offer if your visa is delayed.
