You can expedite. You just need a good reason & be able to prove it. Just FYI, when you get an RFE, try responding ASAP. An RFE pauses your entire case until you respond

I feel the same way you do. It can be depressing at times but just remember to trust in God, pray and before you know it you’ll have your EAD in your hand.

Unfortunately that isn’t a good reason. People who are struggling financially, have medical bills and are in debt get their expedite rejected. It is very hard to get an expedite. Doesnt hurt to try though. Only issue is that it might pause your cause while they are determining your expedite request. However, that is a rumor and no one is 100% sure

I did not submit my i485 with i131 or i765 . .I just did the i130 and i485 in 2021 ...it was so stressful being home for so long last year October 2022 I call my local congressman to seek expedite my I485 she clearly stated she cannot expedite i485 but she can expedite the i765 ...so she told me to download the form fill it out and send it in to uscis and as soon I received the case number call her back ... I sent the form around October 19 and by November 3rd I received the receipt notice in the mail . I immediately call her and she sent a consent form for me to fill out on my email and I had to write a letter briefly stating why I need my case to be expedited... Anyway i was getting frustrated and I put in an expedite (on my own) request by calling uscis ..2 days after uscis sent an email to fax proof ,for some reason I wasn't feeling it but I was gathering evidence to fax ... In less than 1 week I got approved for i765 (Note I did not fax evidence) I got the notification here on lawfully I Screamed that morning lol moving so on the same day my case got approved my congressman sent me / forwarded the mail uscis sent here concerning my case . only god knows how happy I am .you can give it a try it won't how giving your local congressman a try is better you try than fail to try because if I did not Depression would have killed me ...it's not easy being home dependent it's really fustrating .... So it's up to you but give it a shot don't give up.

@buby II I did not fax no evidence.. congressman did my expedite request in November.. but in January I put in an expedite on my own be side congressman..then 2- 3days uscis emailed me to fax proof so b4 I fax any proof my i765 got approved ..

go on Google and search for local congressman for what ever area you live.. example if u live in NYC in Brooklyn or Queens search Queens congressman or Brooklyn congressman choose who ever is responsible for your constituent
