Call From USCIS Today
I got a call from USCIS tier 2 officer today, to be honest, I was not told what I wanted to hear. My case is outside normal processing time in Iowa, but she told me by case is still within the normal processing time with NBC, it can take upto 48 months, I lost hope and became heart broken. I have decided to enjoy my life and not let these guys bother me again.
I’ll be off this app, and won’t be back until I get schedule for interview or they approve my case without interview. I mean, whatever. My I-485 case has been pending since May 2020 on finger print added. bye lawfully 🙅🏿♀️

@jenny mey, I completely understand what you felt, something similar happened to me yesterday after speaking with an immigration officer on the phone. But you know that I know that although the wait is long, when you see your case end, the wait will have been worth it.

@julissa hv you had ur interview? @jenny do you hv ur ead yet?
Julissa Cauti M.Feb 10, 2022
@jude Love, I have not had an interview yet, nor have I been assigned an appointment for biometrics. Yesterday when I spoke with an officer, he told me that I must continue waiting for my case to be processed, since the office where my adjustment of status is located is working on cases for the month of April 2020.

Julissa, those officers can tell you anything. You can call them three times in a row and you will be told a different thing each time.I see people from September 2021 getting approved, and they want to say “they are working on April 2020”.This whole immigration gig is based on pure luck and what officer will get assigned on your case-a hard working one or a lousy one. That’s what determines when you get approved

@A sy, from everything I see and read on this site compared to other cases, it is very likely that you are right. What I have clear is to sit and wait.
